Summer vacation is officially over
tomorrow...and my first class is at 3:30pm. This quarter I only have
classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays with discussions on Wednesdays.
This means...4-day weekends! However, I know I need to be productive
on my Fridays and Mondays...
I'll recap summer quickly here:
-friends' graduations
-hung out in SD until all my friends
started to leave for home
-two weeks in Oxnard
-reading about Hyperspace and Physics
of the Impossible and nerding it up
-basketball
-bought two monitors, beginning of my
dual display craziness
-Vegas with family, first time driving
to Vegas
-back to San Diego for Summer Session
II
-partnered up with really awesome
people in CSE135, learned a lot about CS in general and myself
-B+ and P in my classes, feeling good
-completed my resume, now I have
something!
-a lot of swimming! SO FUN
I got back into watching TV shows this summer too, and it's really
exciting to watch brand new episodes of your favorite shows on TV every
week now that the new season is starting. I missed this! I'm watching
and catching up on Heroes, The Office, The Big Bang Theory, Yu-Gi-Oh!,
Avatar,and some others. Good stuff.
So I finally started working on my resume. I didn't have anything before because I've
never had a job, and I never tried to apply for one. Even though
I've finished my resume so far, I feel I'm still not ready to apply for
anything because I want to finish school first. Now that I'm no
longer on MASA Staff, I don't want any other obligations to divert my
focus on school again. I will have time for working all my life,
right? So let's finally concentrate on school for now.
